She went on to continue her education at the University of Maryland where she completed their Master of Science and Post Master of Science Nursing Degree Program. Lynda started her career in Frederick as a nurse in 1989. In 2001 she was working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Heath and by 2014 she became a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Mental and Behavioral Health Nursing.
