Dr. James Alton Bynum attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX where he graduated with honors. He remained in Galveston to complete his orthopedic surgery residency. He then completed an additional year of sports medicine and arthroscopy training at an accredited fellowship in Plano, TX in 2008.
