Dr. Nathan Momberger specializes in reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. Dr. Momberger, a Utah native, completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Utah and the University of Washington. He then completed additional fellowship training in complex hip and knee reconstruction at Rush University in Chicago.
With over 20 years of experience in his specialty, Dr. Momberger has performed tens of thousands of hip and knee replacements. His reputation in the community has made him a trusted referral source for difficult reconstructive problems, including complex deformities, failed total joint replacements, and infections.
Dr. Momberger possesses a passion for orthopedic research and humanitarian outreach. As Medical Director for Total Joint Replacement for the Intermountain Healthcare system, Dr. Momberger is actively publishing research related to joint replacement. His humanitarian outreach has taken his surgical team to Japan, Honduras, El Salvador, and Morocco to perform surgeries for those in desperate need.
Dr. Momberger joined The Orthopedic Specialty Clinic in August 2000. He is board-certified in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee. He is a fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has also served as a team physician for the U.S. Ski team for over a decade.
