I’ve always been intrigued by the human body and how it works. | My interest in medicine was first sparked in my childhood. I was only 4 when my sister was born and had to be airlifted for emergency surgery. The operation was successful and I remember the surgeon being this larger than life figure to me. | I started out my college career majoring in pharmaceutical product development, but it soon became clear that the only place I would be happy was in medicine. | Personal interests | I’m the mother of two and love spending time with my children. I’m an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan and love golf and running.
