H. James Pfaeffle, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and a member of its hand and upper extremity team. He studied mechanical engineering prior to entering medical school, and earned his medical degree and doctorate in bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
