Exposure to the TV show Quincy M.E. and the autobiography of the doctor that show was based on, led me towards pathology. However, my biology curriculum at Ursinus College led me to employment as a research technician for a pharmaceutical company. As I explored furthering my academic career, I was exposed to a few interactions with people where I enjoyed providing listening and guidance.
