However, I was inspired to become a physiatrist when I had a tumor removed from my leg. The surgery led to nerve problems that affected my ability do everyday activities, like getting in and out of a chair. I believe these functional issues are often overlooked in medicine, and as a physiatrist, they are the things I address for my patients. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending time outdoors. I go to parks, bike and ski.
