Overview
Howard Boltansky is an allergist who treats patients ages 6 and older who have a wide range of nasal allergies and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, sinusitis and allergic conjunctivitis. He offers medical therapy and sublingual immunotherapy for patients with a variety of environmental allergies. Dr. Boltansky earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he remained for an internal medicine residency. His clinical interests include allergic disorders of the skin and airway, hives (urticaria), food allergy, anaphylaxis, immunotherapy, aspirin desensitization, and novel therapeutics. His research efforts focus on elucidating the mechanisms for cell activation and recruitment in allergic skin disorders.
