Overview
Ariana Martin, D.O., practices family medicine with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Dr. Martin received her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and her medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). She later completed her residency at University of Maryland focusing on Family and Community Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Martin has attained many awards for her leadership and research and has participated in numerous speaking engagements. She enjoys being a family medicine physician because it gives her the opportunity to connect with patients and establish long-term relationships, allowing for a partnership in caring for their health. Her additional training in osteopathic medicine provides her with a holistic approach in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. It allows her to embrace the mind, body and spirit of each patient to provide comprehensive and individualized care. Dr. Martin is passionate about mental health awareness, education and advocacy. She is the southern regional director for Maryland Academy of Family Physicians (MDAFP), member of Alumni Board of VCOM and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She loves to travel, bargain shop and try out new DIY projects. Dr. Martin is happily married with three sons and a dog.
