Dr. Myers moved to Colorado after finishing his foot and ankle subspecialty fellowship. He is an East Coast transplant, having attended Princeton for College, U. Penn for medical school, and Johns Hopkins for his residency. He is a foot and ankle specialist for Orthopedic Centers of Colorado and his training gives him expertise in all disorders of the foot and ankle. Dr. Myers has two patient care objectives: restore function and alleviate pain. He derives immense satisfaction from achieving these with his patients. Dr. Myers specializes in foot surgery, ankle procedures, sports medicine, trauma care, minimally invasive and microscope assisted techniques and general orthopedic procedures. Eric J. Lindberg, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined Orthopedic Associates in 1998. For over 20 years, he has provided exceptional orthopedic foot and ankle care, both operative and non-operative, for patients in the Denver metro area. He evaluates and treats all types of foot and ankle issues, including sports injuries of the foot and ankle, and complex deformities including those from arthritis. He has treated patients from many professional sports teams as well as those patients of all ages who try to remain active and healthy at any activity level. For many years he provided the foot and ankle care for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Crush. Dr. Lindberg received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1987. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1992 and continued his orthopedic training through the Harbor/ UCLA orthopedic residency program. His fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery was completed with Ronald Smith M.D. in Long Beach, California. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Robert Leland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and dual fellowship trained in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and orthopedic trauma who has practiced in Colorado since 2001. He is one of Colorado’s most experienced Foot and Ankle surgeons and one of the first in the country to perform ankle replacements. Dr. Leland’s treatment centers on thoroughly educating patients about their condition and treatment options so they can best be involved in the decision-making process. He is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Prior to working with OCC, Dr. Leland graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Leland completed fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and Orthopedic Trauma at University Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden, Germany. He subsequently returned to Detroit as Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery in the Department of Orthopedics at Wayne State University and Chief of Orthopedics at the VA Medical Center where he was twice awarded the Teacher of the Year Award. Dr. Leland currently serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado and received the Colonel Alan Bucknell Award for Teacher of the Year in 2020.
