She received her orthopedics and sports medicine training from the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Mallette completed her fellowship in adult reconstruction at Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Orange, California. Dr. Mallette has also received advanced education on hip and knee arthroplasty from the DePuy Synthes Institute in Chicago.Dr. Mallette has participated in several orthopedic clinical research and basic science research projects in association with the University of Washington, the University of Colorado and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery. In addition, she has co-authored several scientific articles and participated in many medical presentations.
