Medicine felt like the right path for me. The reason I chose Oncology is that even though people believe it to be a depressing field, I believe it is a rewarding field. I get to help people and make a real difference in their lives. It is one of the few specialties that allows you to get to know your patients and their families well because you are seeing them on a routine basis.
