Overview
Dr. Arehzo Jahangiri is native to the DC area, was born in Washington DC, and grew up in Richmond, VA. She is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Jahangiri attended Virginia Commonwealth University on the MCV Campus and trained at MCV Hospital, a level-one trauma center. She has returned to the area to practice cardiology in a private practice.
Dr. Jahangiri’s passion is in preventative cardiology, cardiac imaging, and heart failure management. She often says, “I treat my patients like they are my family”. She believes that with this mentality, she is able to provide exceptional care to her patients. During her free time, Dr. Jahangiri enjoys spending time with her family and staying active by hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants in the area. In addition, Dr. Jahangiri is a loyal fan of all DC sports teams, especially the Washington Football Team.
