It was during this time that Dr. Kanter traveled to remote regions of Peru to perform high-volume cervical cancer screening. Dr. Kanter then completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. During this time, she also earned a Masters in Translational Research with a research focus on the uterine immune environment and placentation. An ardent researcher, Dr. Kanter has contributed to medical publications focusing on subjects such as monozygotic twinning in IVF, cell biology and roles in early pregnancy establishment and outcomes, and the uterine immune environment in addition to writing book chapters detailing infertility and ectopic pregnancies. She has also traveled across the country presenting topics including in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing, enhanced embryo implantation, and age-based counseling for fertility treatment. Dr. Gay graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a focus on genetics and cellular biology. He then earned his medical degree and completed his residency training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
