Dr. Melissa Ferrell, DNP FNP-BC is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arizona. Her dissertation topic was focused on sublingual immunotherapy and how to improve nurse practitioner knowledge and management of patients on this treatment. She was the recipient of the Top DNP Project award upon graduation. She also provides consultation services for clinicians throughout the United States who are prescribing sublingual immunotherapy in their practice. Dr. Ferrell worked alongside Dr. Stuart Agren, MD at the Family Allergy Clinic for several years prior to his retiring. Dr. Ferrell enjoys cycling, wakeboarding, riding her quad and most importantly, spending time with her husband and three children.
