Philosophy of care | My goal is to prevent disease and treat existing conditions while improving your quality of life. I also believe in a whole-person approach to care because your quality of life is much more than a diagnosis – it includes your passions, family, friends, mental and physical health, as well as your future goals. I believe that by collaborating and working together, we can help you achieve your goals and improve your wellness. I am particularly interested in the dynamic interactions between family members and how to help families grow healthy and strong together. | Why I entered medicine | Very early in my life as a mother, I witnessed the powerful impact that physicians play in the experience of life and death for their patients. It inspired me to become a doctor so that I could positively impact lives around me. Also, I knew that whatever profession I pursued, I wanted to both provide an example of service to my young children, and feel that time spent away from them was contributing to something greater than myself. | Community involvement | I spend time volunteering and contributing to local family wellness. I do this through fund/resource raising for local charities, volunteering my time in parenting support classes, working with local diaper banks, and visiting elementary schools to teach children about wellness. | Personal interests | My husband and I are blessed to have three sons ranging from toddler to teenager. Much of my personal time is spent with them, growing our lives in the Lehigh Valley and making family memories.
