Dr. Cynthia E. Manly
Overview
Cynthia takes a comprehensive approach to patient care by focusing on the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. While her specialty is medication management, she believes in a holistic approach, combining medications with therapy to provide the best treatment outcomes. Her philosophy with medications is “less is best.” She thoroughly reviews and discusses the treatment plan to allow patients to make informed decisions about their care.
With over 40 years in health care, Cynthia made the switch to mental health after initially working as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She enjoyed psychiatry so much and went back to school to earn her certification and has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. In her spare time, she likes listening to music and playing the piano. She enjoys hiking and reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt. Whitney in California. She loves animals and has a cat and a Great Pyrenees dog.
