Dr. Martin received her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and her medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). She later completed her residency at University of Maryland focusing on Family and Community Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Martin has attained many awards for her leadership and research and has participated in numerous speaking engagements.
