
Overview
Dr. Dong practices the breadth of the Otolaryngology specialty, including the treatment of head and neck tumors, sinus and allergy diseases and ear problems. He has a particular interest in pediatric ENT, thyroid surgery and endoscopic sinus surgery.Dr. Dong has received additional training in the use of ultrasound for evaluation of thyroid nodules and other head and neck tumors. He performs needle biopsies under ultrasound guidance in the office.Dr. Dong also has expertise in balloon sinus procedures performed in the office, which generally allows patients to return to work and normal activities by the following day. Additionally, he offers in-office facial rejuvenation services such as cosmetic fillers and injections.Dr. Dong grew up in Sacramento and attended the University of California, Davis where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Science in 1989. He subsequently received his medical degree from Saint Louis University in Missouri. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Dong began his practice in Chicago where he stayed for six years before heading west to Stockton, California in 2004.In his spare time, Dr. Dong enjoys spending time with his family and is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying paddle boarding, hiking, snowboarding and golf.

A native of Sacramento, Dr. Michael Kearns is a highly-regarded and experienced board-certified otolaryngologist who has been practicing in the Sacramento area since 1986. In addition to general otolaryngology, Dr. Kearns' special clinical interests include snoring and sleep apnea treatments, facial skin cancers and nasal/sinus disease.Dr. Kearns has been widely involved in the medical community and has won many leadership awards for his service to his patients, including being voted by local physicians as one of the top Otolaryngologists (Sacramento Magazine) in 2007 and being selected as Hero in Healthcare in 1998.
