Dr. David M. Weinstein

Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree with a major in physics and a minor in Spanish at Middlebury College in Vermont. He completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Davis’ fellowship experience includes hand surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center, Jefferson University, and shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Davis joined Colorado Orthopedics Consultants in 1996. He is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, with added qualification in surgery of the hand. His current memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the American Society of Surgery of the Hand, the Colorado Medical Society, and the Aurora-Adams County Medical Society. Dr. Ky Kobayashi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions affecting the hand and upper extremities. Dr. Kobayashi specializes in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery including microvascular surgery, arthroscopy, traumatic reconstruction, and joint replacement. Dr. Kobayashi retired from the United States Air Force in 2014 with many decorations after several deployments to combat zones. He has extensive experience in combat casualty care and reconstruction. He has been staff and assistant program director for the Wilford Hall Air Force Orthopedic Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. He is actively involved in research & education and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Kobayashi was elected to serve on the Board of Specialties for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons for education.  He has been the team physician for the Air Force Academy sports programs and is currently a consultant for the Olympic Training Center. Dr. Matthew Delarosa is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery. He provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatment to improve function and reduce pain. Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Dr. Delarosa completed medical school and orthopedic training at LSUHSC New Orleans. He then further specialized in Hand and Microsurgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC under the direction of Dr. Glenn Gaston. In addition to the full spectrum of routine upper extremity problems, a significant portion of his fellowship training concentrated on brachial plexus and complex peripheral nerve injuries. Additionally, he traveled to Florianopolis, Brazil to study under Dr. Jayme Bertelli, an expert in peripheral nerve injuries, brachial plexus injuries, and tendon transfers. He is also interested in improving function of upper extremity amputees through targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR) and the use of a myoelectric prosthesis. Through his work in congenital, brachial plexus, and amputee specialty clinics he has gained a wealth of knowledge on the multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
