Dr. Ray M. Hargreaves

Dr. Lisa White received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in 2002, where she graduated summa cum laude and was named a Torchbearer, the highest honor bestowed on UT students. She went on to obtain a full scholarship to Vanderbilt University Medical School and earned her medical degree in 2006. She completed a General Surgery residency at Vanderbilt in 2011. During her time at Vanderbilt, she earned numerous awards, including the Harwell Wilson Award for Surgical Excellence, the Alfred Blalock Award in Surgery Residency, Outstanding Resident Teaching Awards, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She moved to Murfreesboro in 2011 and began her surgical practice at the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. Dr. White is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons and focuses her practice on breast care. She is also certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons in Breast Ultrasound and Breast Stereotactic Procedures. Dr. White is the only surgeon in Murfreesboro with a breast ultrasound certification and an oncoplastic certification. In 2019, Dr. White was instrumental in founding the Crystal Scholarship, which honors families who have been affected by breast cancer. The Crystal Scholarship was established to assist the children of MMC breast cancer patients in continuing their education beyond high school.
