Dr. Jeffrey S. Moore

Dr. Heather Dunlap moved to Murfreesboro and joined Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in the fall of 2018. She started her education in New York City graduating with Bachelor of the Arts in Communications, cum laude. She then continued her medical education in Erie PA and moved back to Ohio to complete her surgical training. When she is not working, Dr. Dunlap enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and live music. Dr. Lisa White received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in 2002, where she graduated summa cum laude and was named a Torchbearer, the highest honor bestowed on UT students. She went on to obtain a full scholarship to Vanderbilt University Medical School and earned her medical degree in 2006. She completed a General Surgery residency at Vanderbilt in 2011. During her time at Vanderbilt, she earned numerous awards, including the Harwell Wilson Award for Surgical Excellence, the Alfred Blalock Award in Surgery Residency, Outstanding Resident Teaching Awards, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She moved to Murfreesboro in 2011 and began her surgical practice at the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. Dr. White is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons and focuses her practice on breast care. She is also certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons in Breast Ultrasound and Breast Stereotactic Procedures. Dr. White is the only surgeon in Murfreesboro with a breast ultrasound certification and an oncoplastic certification. In 2019, Dr. White was instrumental in founding the Crystal Scholarship, which honors families who have been affected by breast cancer. The Crystal Scholarship was established to assist the children of MMC breast cancer patients in continuing their education beyond high school. Dr. Shawn Horwitz moved to Murfreesboro in July 2014 and joined Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and Surgicenter. He started his education at Miami University in Oxford, OH and completed his Bachelor of Arts degree graduating Cum Laude in 2005. Dr. Horwitz then completed his medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH in 2009. After getting married, he moved to Cleveland, OH for residency and completed a general surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital, Cleveland Clinic in 2014. While there Dr. Horwitz was awarded Resident of the Year award twice.Dr. Horwitz enjoys spending time with his wife Lacey and their two children and loves to travel, play soccer, cycle, read and watch movies.
