I grew up with a father who practiced family medicine, so I was exposed to the benefits of primary care. I am a strong believer that continuity of care can improve outcomes in your health. In this sense, I enjoy taking care of families and helping whole families improve their health. I think the best patient outcomes are achieved when data and science marry unique patient interests. As an Army brat, I moved around at times when I was younger. However, I have lived in North Carolina since high school, going to college and medical school, and having my residency in this great state. I have enjoyed all North Carolina has to offer, from the myriad of activities for those who enjoy the outdoors to the cultural and sporting activities one can find in this state.
