Dr. Aziz is a designated researcher for the Johns Hopkins AI-X Foundry, an organization that provides the framework and support infrastructure for artificial intelligence and data science efforts across the Johns Hopkins institutions. Along with his expertise in machine learning, data science and ethics, he is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Artificial Intelligence Task Force. As the CMIO for Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Dr. Aziz focuses on using emerging technologies, such as generative AI, in health care to help transform how high-quality, cutting-edge care is delivered to patients and their families in today’s increasingly digital world.
