Dr. Gregg A. Koldenhoven

Eric J. Lindberg, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined Orthopedic Associates in 1998. For over 20 years, he has provided exceptional orthopedic foot and ankle care, both operative and non-operative, for patients in the Denver metro area. He evaluates and treats all types of foot and ankle issues, including sports injuries of the foot and ankle, and complex deformities including those from arthritis. He has treated patients from many professional sports teams as well as those patients of all ages who try to remain active and healthy at any activity level. For many years he provided the foot and ankle care for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Crush. Dr. Lindberg received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1987. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1992 and continued his orthopedic training through the Harbor/ UCLA orthopedic residency program. His fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery was completed with Ronald Smith M.D. in Long Beach, California. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Jared Michalson is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of knee and hip arthritis as well as fractures throughout the body. Raised on a corn and soybean farm in northcentral Iowa, he brings a humble, community-centered approach to patient care. His goal is simple: to use the latest, proven nonsurgical and surgical techniques to relieve pain and restore function as quickly and safely as possible. Dr. Michalson is among a small group of orthopedic surgeons with dual fellowship training. He tailors treatment—surgical or nonsurgical—to each individual injury to ensure optimal outcomes. He also completed fellowship training in joint replacement, with expertise in outpatient knee and hip replacement, anterior approach hip replacement, robotic-assisted knee replacement, and partial knee replacement. He performs complex revision surgeries for patients with painful or problematic joint replacements. Dr. Choudhry provides a full complement of upper extremity/hand care from the shoulder to fingertips. A Colorado native, he graduated from Overland High School in Aurora where he was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Science Award for his “Excellent Promise in the Field of Science.” He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology from the University of Denver and graduated Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School where he received the William Winter MD Award for his “Outstanding Performance in Orthopedic Surgery” as a senior medical student. He continued his passion for orthopedics by completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati and affiliated hospitals. As a graduating chief resident he was selected as the recipient of the Peter J. Stern MD award “in recognition for outstanding qualities in professionalism, patient care, and teaching.” He then decided to pursue subspecialty training and completed an Upper extremity/Hand fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries. Dr. Choudhry has several research endeavors that have been presented at national meetings and published in prestigous scientific journals.
