Philosophy of care | My goal is identifying the underlying cause of your illness and addressing it in as comprehensive and long-lasting a manner as possible. Also, I seek to avoid unnecessary medications. I thrive on creating working relationships with patients. | Why I entered medicine | I got into the medical field because I knew as a lifelong patient myself (type 1 diabetes) I could identify with and relate to patients across many backgrounds. | Personal interests | Life is busy, with three beautiful young kids I love spending time with. In my little spare time I also love cooking and travel, and I stay in shape with Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit workouts.
