Dr. Alexandra G. Waldenmaier

Dr. Alexandra Hahn Waldenmaier (Dr. Hahn) is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced training in surgical critical care. Her areas of clinical focus include laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures for abdominal and thoracic trauma. She has a passion for caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Hahn earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her general surgery residency at Ochsner Health, also in New Orleans, serving as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Hahn went on to complete her surgical critical care fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Outside the operating room, she enjoys watching her beloved Saints football team, running, cooking, traveling, photography, listening to live music and playing soccer. She is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Association for Surgical Education and Association of Women Surgeons.
