Overview
My name is Dr. Ajfar Sherif, MD, and I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician in New Jersey, with additional board certification in Obesity Medicine. I specialize in medical weight loss management, helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals. I completed my medical training at Hackensack University Medical Center, and after completing my postgraduate education, I founded a Women's Health clinic focused on serving the underserved population of Paterson, NJ.In addition to my work in primary and urgent care, I have had the privilege of holding leadership positions, including serving as the Area Medical Director for MedExpress NJ and as the Chief of Urgent Care for Riverside Medical Group Urgent Care.Having cared for COVID-19 patients during the peak of the pandemic, I am now eager to return to my roots and give back to the community that shaped me.
