He then served as a physician with the Nigerian Airforce during his National Service from 1999 to 2000.Following his service, Dr. Adekola moved to the United States, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, serving as Chief Resident from 2004 to 2005.
