I am a clinician dedicated to helping children and adults preserve and restore their vision. I perform a wide variety of procedures including cataract surgery, cornea transplants and Lasik surgery. I also see a large number of patients with ocular surface disease, ranging from dry eye to limbal stem cell disease. At Duke, we are able to offer new technologies and unique surgeries for these conditions. I truly love what I do and the relationships I build with my patients. When I am not busy at work, I am home spending time with my two children or trying to sneak in a long run. My clinical interests include uveitis, iridocyclitis, scleritis, pediatric uveitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, bacterial and viral infections of the eye, ocular rosacea, and severe dry eye.
