I am an immunologist who treats primary immunodeficiencies in children and adults. I see patients with recurrent infections and fevers, drug allergies, hereditary angioedema, and secondary immunodeficiencies. Our program offers cutting-edge clinical trials to provide the best treatment options for patients with immunodeficiencies. When I first meet patients, I try to put them at ease. Coming to a doctor's office can cause a lot of anxiety, especially for children. I try to identify key issues, as well as strategies to help with those problems. My goal is to improve the quality of life for children and adults so they can lead a normal life. Outside of work, I enjoy martial arts, gardening, cooking, and spending time with my wife and three children. I first became interested in pursuing a career in medicine after being a camp counselor for children with autoimmune type I diabetes when I was in college.
