Dr. Babar Shafiq is an orthopaedic surgeon fellowship trained in traumatology who performs surgery for acute trauma and adult reconstruction. His knowledge of biomechanics, rehabilitation, and surgery make him uniquely qualified to guide patients from injury through rehab and on to optimal recovery. He gives lectures and teaches medical students, residents and fellows on a daily basis both at Johns Hopkins and at regional, national and international courses.
