Dr. Evan Lewis specializes in the treatment of all conditions of the foot and ankle, including the management of complicated diabetic wounds, sports medicine injuries of the foot and ankle, bunions, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, and hammertoes.Dr. Lewis completed a three-year residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. His residency focused on medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle, with emphasis on reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Lewis, a native to Tennessee, has since practiced in the greater Nashville area and most recently in Marietta, Woodstock, and Canton, Georgia.Dr. Evan Lewis attended college at the University of Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Subsequently, he attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL, and graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Weintraub is the newest member of our Associated Foot & Ankle Specialists team. Dr. Weintraub is originally from Marietta, GA and received his undergraduate education from the University of Georgia (UGA), where he obtained a degree in B.S. Biology with a minor in Spanish. After graduating from UGA, Dr.W eintraub spent a year as a medical scribe in an emergency department in Snellville, GA which ultimately solidified his decision to pursue a career in medicine.Dr. Weintraub went on to attend New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) where he graduated in 2017 while maintaining Dean's list status. After graduating from NYCPM, Dr. Weintraub completed a comprehensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. University Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center which allowed him to experience a great diversity of foot and ankle pathology with an emphasis on foot and ankle trauma and diabetic limb salvage.Whether it is elective forefoot surgery, foot and ankle trauma surgery, or diabetic footcare, Dr. Weintraub is extremely adept and comfortable given his surgical training. In order to further advance his foot and ankle surgical skills, Dr. Weintraub completed both comprehensive and advanced courses of Internal Fixation of Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma sponsored by the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis (AAFAO).After residency, Dr. Weintraub treated patients in a private practice in Central NJ while performing surgeries at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center before he decided to return home to practice in Georgia. Personable and caring, Dr. Weintraub takes the time and effort to ensure his patients are comfortable with his treatment plans, whether conservative or surgical. Dr. Weintraub is a well-rounded podiatrist with specific interests in elective foot and ankle surgery, traumatic foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, and wound care. When he is not practicing podiatry, Dr. Weintraub enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his family, and traveling. Dr. Roman moved to the Atlanta area from Ohio after earning undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Biology from Kent State University and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon completing his residency in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Emory-Northlake Medical Center, he joined Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia in 2006.Dr. Roman continues his commitment to the ongoing education and advancement of foot and ankle surgery with his active involvement in the local residency training program. He also lectures across the country as a faculty member and past chairman of The Podiatry Institute, a non-profit education foundation recognized internationally for its leading role in the advancement of podiatric medicine and surgery. He has made his personal contribution to surgical advancements in podiatric medicine through medical research and design, currently holding six patents in fixation and implantation devices.Residing with his family in the McDonough area, Dr. Roman gives back to his community by volunteering and providing care for those in need through the Hands of Hope Clinic, Inc.
