Overview
I have been at Duke since 2003. My areas of interest are in primary care and the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. I am the executive director of Duke Connected Care, Duke’s accountable care organization, and I am the medical director of DukeWELL, a population health program for Duke Employees and dependents. My administrative duties include serving as associate chief medical officer for Duke University Health System, where my work focuses on care redesign, new models of care and new models of payment. Prior to that, I was chief of family medicine at Duke. I enjoy being involved in leadership and organized medicine, both locally and nationally. I recently served as president of the North Carolina Medical Society.
