Dr. Deepika Jain

Deepika Jain, MD, FASN, FNKF, is a fellowship-trained nephrologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jain specializes in diagnosing, treating and managing acute and chronic kidney conditions and diseases. She also treats related issues like high blood pressure (hypertension), dialysis and post renal transplant care.After earning her medical degree at the Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi in India, Dr. Jain completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Columbia, MO, where she also served as a clinical instructor. She followed that with a fellowship in clinical nephrology, in the Renal-Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.Following her move to New Jersey, Dr. Jain joined Medical Diagnostic Associates Nephrology after several years of active practice in Hudson County. She is the author of numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals on various kidney diseases and health literacy in dialysis. She has presented at national and international conferences over the years and has been on the panel to judge abstracts submitted to American Society of Nephrology meetings.Dr. Jain is a distinguished member and Fellow of National Kidney Foundation, where she serves on its Medical Advisory Board, and the American Society of Nephrology, and a member of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis. She is fluent in both English and Hindi. Dr. Jain is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
