I am an Internal Medicine Specialist, Fellowship-trained Diabetologist, and board-certified in Obesity Medicine. Given my passion in fighting metabolic disease, I have completed an additional year of training in Diabetes. I enjoy working with adult individuals who have diabetes to allow them improve their blood sugar control. I am a strong believer in using continuous glucose monitors (CGM) to assist in lifestyle changes. In addition, I manage other chronic conditions such as high blood pressure (hypertension), cholesterol problems (dyslipidemia), weight management (obesity medicine), and heart failure. Furthermore, I can manage acute conditions such as common cold or urinary tract infections (UTI). Finally, I value preventative medicine which can result in preventing disease. My philosophy in caring for patients is inspired from my father’s illness with cancer and involves providing both cutting-edge evidence-based medicine and being compassionate. I want to engage every patient in their care and to create a one team which celebrate successes together. This is my goal for every patient.
