Dr. Romie F. Gibly

Dr. Daniel Ocel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined a division of OCC - Cornerstone Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2005. He is fellowship-trained in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and also practices general orthopedics and sports medicine. His approach centers on compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient. Dr. Ocel graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University School of Medicine, where he received a Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Navy. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago, earning the Weinstein Award as the outstanding chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Ocel served as head of orthopedic surgery at Naval Hospital Corpus Christi and was awarded the Naval-Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his service. He then moved to Sydney, Australia, to complete a foot and ankle fellowship with Dr. Martin Sullivan, caring for many of the country’s top professional and Olympic athletes. He later completed an additional fellowship with Dr. Robert Anderson at the Miller Clinic in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Ocel is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Eric J. Lindberg, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined Orthopedic Associates in 1998. For over 20 years, he has provided exceptional orthopedic foot and ankle care, both operative and non-operative, for patients in the Denver metro area. He evaluates and treats all types of foot and ankle issues, including sports injuries of the foot and ankle, and complex deformities including those from arthritis. For many years he provided the foot and ankle care for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Crush. Dr. Lindberg received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1987. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1992 and continued his orthopedic training through the Harbor/ UCLA orthopedic residency program. His fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery was completed with Ronald Smith M.D. in Long Beach, California. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. Scott G. Resig, M.D.is board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Resig specializes in complex conditions of the lower extremity with a focus in foot and ankle as well as hip and knee joint replacement at Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Denver and Parker, Colorado. Dr. Resig pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, graduating with distinction. He received his medical degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completing his residency, he pursued fellowship training at the Adidas Sports Medicine Institute and then continued his fellowship training in orthopedic foot & ankle surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Resig is currently the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He moved to Denver and joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in 2004. Dr. Resig utilizes many of the most advanced technologies available in orthopedics, including robotic knee surgery, anterior minimally invasive hip replacement, and custom ankle replacement.
