Philosophy of care | My patients are my family. | Why I entered medicine | I emigrated from Ukraine with my grandmother, who played a significant role in my life. Unfortunately she succumbed to gastrointestinal cancer. But while caring for her at a young age, I experienced medicine from diagnosis to surgical treatment and finally palliative care.
