Overview
Dr. Patrick Mufarrij is a member of the Johns Hopkins Brady Urologic Institute at Sibley Memorial Hospital and is an expert in endourology, including percutaneous and endoscopic urologic surgery; metabolic stone and causes of the recurrent stone formation; and robotic surgery for the reconstruction of the urinary tract. He also serves as the Division Cheif for Urology at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mufarrij earned his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed residencies in general surgery and urology at New York University School of Medicine, followed by special training in endourology during a fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. During his fellowship, Dr. Mufarrij focused on metabolic kidney stone disease, surgery for complex kidney stones, percutaneous renal surgery and robotic surgery. Dr. Mufarrij is a member of the American Urological Association. Dr. Mufarrij has contributed to numerous publications on the topics of urology.

Dr. Litvak completed his residency in urological surgery at the Boston University School of Medicine where he served as chief resident. In 2005, Dr. Litvak joined Urological Consultants. Shortly thereafter he initiated the laparoscopic urology program at Suburban Hospital where he performed the first laparoscopic nephrectomy. In 2008, he and Dr. Radolinski initiated the Robotic Surgery program at Suburban Hospital. Dr. Litvak has published numerous journal articles and meeting abstracts on a wide array of urological topics. He has also authored several chapters in textbooks of urological surgery. He has taught courses in minimally invasive surgery both domestically and abroad. Dr. Litvak is honored to be recognized by his peers as one of the areas top urologists by receiving the Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Doctors Award.
