Amy Anstead, MD, FARS, is the only fellowship-trained rhinologist and endoscopic skull base surgeon in the world who also has formal education in both functional and integrative medicine. She provides holistic, personalized, patient-centered care, and is unafraid to look outside the box for solutions for her patients. Prior to medical school, Dr. Anstead completed two concurrent Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Psychology. She is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and trained with Dr. Andrew Weil at the Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona.Dr. Anstead has been voted Best Doctor in Seattle by her peers in the Seattle Metropolitan Magazine five times. She has frequently been an invited speaker on the topics of Rhinology andEndoscopic Skull Base Surgery across the Americas and Europe and directed cadaveric dissection courses on Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery for her peers.
