Daniel Lueders, MD, is a sports medicine physician at Burke & Bradley Orthopedics - UPMC. He is board certified in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation and is Head PM&R Physician and an Assistant Team Physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also serves as a director on the Little League International Board of Directors and chaired the Little League International Pandemic Response Advisory Commission in 2021. He received his bachelor and medical degrees from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Lueders’ practice focuses on the non-surgical management of sports medicine conditions, joint disorders, and tendon disorders. He specializes in the application of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound to make complicated and challenging diagnoses and in advanced ultrasound guided interventions, including injection therapies, percutaneous needle tenotomy for tendon disorders, ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release, and in the application of orthobiologic agents such as platelet-rich plasma and bone marrow aspirate concentrate for joint, tendon, and ligament disorders. Dr. Lueders is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
