Ms. Grace Thompson Bell is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in oncology andhematology. She graduated from Emory University’s nurse practitioner program and holds dualcertifications in adult-gerontology acute care and adult-gerontology primary care.Ms. Thompson Bell has experience in both academic and community oncology settings. Shepreviously practiced at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta, treatinghematologic conditions in both hospital and outpatient clinic environments. She also providedcomprehensive oncologic care at Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates, a communityoncology practice in the Atlanta suburbs.Ms. Thompson Bell remains actively involved with the Emory School of Nursing, serving as aguest lecturer.Ms. Thompson Bell treats a wide variety of oncologic and hematologic conditions including solid tumor malignancies, hematologic malignancies and benign hematologic disorders.Ms. Thompson Bell is a Central Coast native, raised in Arroyo Grande. After spending 10 years inAtlanta, she is excited to be back and looks forward to giving back to the community she calls home. Ginger’s goal is to be an integral component in the care of her patients and their families. While some of her focus shifted over the years with regard to the area of medical expertise, the desire to provide care and dedication to the best of her ability has never changed. This is a focus that has led her through a number of helpful professions and specialties. She has worked in family medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care medicine until she landed in oncology. Once there she knew that she had found her niche. She has spent over 30 years working in medicine and over half of those working in oncology as an oncology certified nurse.Ginger’s education began at an early age tagging around after her family doctor and peppering him with questions to increase her understanding of the work that would eventually lead her to become a Nurse Practitioner. She has completed her undergraduate and postgraduate education at the University of Colorado and has continued to learn and grow since then in her chosen profession. Her goal to work in a community oncology practice that focuses on care and compassion has led her to Mission Hope Cancer Center. Here, she looks forward to playing a pivotal role in the care of patients and their families.In her spare time, she plays competitive billiards, golfs, exercises and spends time with her family of her husband and two furry pillows that eat—otherwise known as cats. Elizabeth (Libby) Evans, NP, brings a wealth of experience to her role as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. After earning her undergraduate nursing degree from San Diego State University, she gained valuable experience in intensive care and emergency medicine. Ms. Evans then completed her graduate training as a Nurse Practitioner at Fresno State University. Committed to the next generation of healthcare providers, she also serves as a mentor to Nurse Practitioner students. As a longtime resident of Nipomo, Ms. Evans is passionate about providing comprehensive primary and acute care to the community she calls home. In her free time, she enjoys family, gardening, and hiking. Ms. Evans is rated as an Experienced provider by MediFind in the treatment of Febrile Neutropenia.
