Decisions regarding type or timing of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, breast reconstruction, and genetic testing are coordinated with the providers to optimize the patient's oncologic and cosmetic outcome.She performs lumpectomy (breast conservation surgery) and uses oncoplastic techniques when appropriate, skin and nipple sparing mastectomy, modified radical mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and axillary dissections when indicated. A minimally invasive approach and hidden scar techniques are used whenever possible.
