I have always been interested in science and health. I received my Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and became intrigued with podiatry when I realized how intricate the anatomy is and how important the feet are for physical health and activities. I went to podiatry school in Chicago and completed a three year foot and ankle residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA and Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento,  CA. I grew up in North Dakota.Healthcare is a necessity for human survival and can enhance, change and heal us. Our experiences are deeply impacted by the care we receive from health professionals.
