Philosophy of care | Attention to detail is the philosophy best suited for urology. Each of the many facets of your patient history – physical exam, lab tests and radiologic studies – apply in providing you care. I treat patients as one treats a family member – with love, consideration, patience and understanding. | Why I entered medicine | Medicine is a field that allows you to take care of God's most precious gift – life. I find urology a particularly interesting and all-encompassing specialty. I am involved in every aspect of patient care, starting with diagnosis, medical and perhaps surgical treatment, and lifelong follow-up. Urologists treat a variety of disease processes involving organs such as prostate, kidney, bladder, testicles, penis and urethra. | Community involvement | I have gone on medical missions to Brazil, the Philippines and Haiti to help people in dire need of medical attention. I also have worked with underserved populations for the past five years and learned about the many obstacles they face regarding receiving health care. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending time with my children, golfing, cooking, working out and going to restaurants with my wife.
