Patrick S. Malone, DPM, is a board-certified Podiatrist in wound care and surgery. Dr. Malone earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio.Dr. Malone has worked in private practice in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Georgia for over 30 years. His expertise in limb salvage led him to transition to his career in wound care where he could focus on the prevention of amputation through the importance of routine foot care. He also lectures across the country as a faculty member and past chairman of The Podiatry Institute, a non-profit education foundation recognized internationally for its leading role in the advancement of podiatric medicine and surgery. He has made his personal contribution to surgical advancements in podiatric medicine through medical research and design, currently holding six patents in fixation and implantation devices.Residing with his family in the McDonough area, Dr. Roman gives back to his community by volunteering and providing care for those in need through the Hands of Hope Clinic, Inc.
