Dr. Pradeep Penta

Dr. Pradeep Penta is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. He is a Clinical Instructor at New York University School of Medicine and an Attending Physician at New York University Langone Medical Center. As a physiatrist, Dr. Penta performs various injections for pain relief including spinal epidural injections, facet blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral joint injections, tendon sheath injections, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections. He also performs electro-diagnostic testing to evaluate for entrapment neuropathies, peripheral neuropathies, radiculopathies and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. Dr. Penta graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas-Southwestern in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. He subsequently completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Upstate Medical center in Syracuse, New York, and a fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Penta is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the International Spine Intervention Society.
