Dr. Fillerup finds being a podiatrist rewarding and fulfilling.  It is gratifying to help others improve their quality of life. The schooling and training, although challenging, helped him prepare  to establish a successful practice and reputation as a skilled and caring physician. He enjoys being cutting edge and continues learning and training in new technology and procedures. Living on the central coast with his wife and five boys has been a dream come true. He has been active in the community and in church and has coached multiple sports for his boys  throughout the years.  He relishes family time, surfing, beach volleyball, fitness, wake boarding and skiing.  He enjoys an active lifestyle and enjoys helping others do the same.Dr. Fillerup has been practicing podiatry for more than 25 years. He believes patients should have an active role in the treatment they receive.   Listening to and valuing a patient's concerns is  essential in establishing an appropriate diagnosis and treatment options.  Patients can then make an informed decision and receive the best treatment for them individually.  The ultimate goal is for his patients to return to their desired activity level as soon as possible.
