Mark Jackson was born in Robstown, Texas, and has lived in the DFW area for the past 35 years. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington as a biology major before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree and physician assistant certification at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 1991.Since graduation, he has spent the majority of his career working in the field of adult general cardiology, with some internal medicine background working with a hospitalist group. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, American College of Cardiology, and National Lipid Association. He is also a member of, and serves as director at large for, the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology.Jackson joined Consultants in Cardiology in 2005. He currently works at the Southwest office location in Fort Worth with Drs. Anderson, Corley and Parrish.
