Dr. Melissa M. Murphy

Dr. Melissa Murphy is a colon and rectal surgeon with Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is the Executive Chief of Surgery of Care New England in Rhode Island as well as the Chief of Surgery at Kent Hospital. She is an instructor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Murphy received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and a master of public health degree from Boston University. She completed a general surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
